Our Showroom

Classic Rooms & Fireplaces have been established since 1986. We have been at our current location for the past 17 years, with a deceptive showroom that is a lot bigger than it initially seems. There is ample free parking to the front and disabled access from the rear parking area. The showroom is tastefully decorated in room settings with live displays of gas and electric fires.

We endeavour to remodel the showroom on a regular basis, so the latest styles and innovations are always available for your viewing pleasure. The majority of our stock is exclusive to us in the North Yorkshire area and non internet.

Customer Satisfaction

For those customers who prefer the project of a new fireplace to be done for them from start to finish with no fuss, then look no further. That is our core business. Dave, the owner, is a fully qualified gas engineer and has been involved with the fitting of fires, fireplaces, stoves and central heating boilers for over 25 years and he still enjoys it.

He says " I like being in the showroom a few days a week but I really enjoy being in the thick of it, installing and changing the way a room can be transformed in less than a day. When that buzz leaves me I'll know I'm getting too old and I will then retire to the showrrom permanently".

But if you just want a delivery or to collect, then that's fine as well. We also have a selection of pictures and mirrors on show that are also available to purchase.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to help and assist, rather than harass people into buying something like some other companies. The majority of our customers very rarely buy on their first visit. When you are changing the way your home looks it usually involves more than one item.

The fireplace is usually the centrepiece of one's room, but you have to take into consideration other aspects and that is why the second visit is crucial.
